DISASTER RELIEF Project FUND

Bee City USA®, an initiative of the Xerces Society, has limited funding available to assist affiliates in restoring habitat and other pollinator conservation resources destroyed by natural disasters such as floods, tornadoes, hurricanes, and wildfires through its Disaster Relief Project Funding (DRPF). The purpose of DRPF is to support affiliates in fulfilling the purpose and goals of the Bee City USA initiative; as such, only affiliates of Bee City USA or Bee Campus USA in good standing may request funding. To request funding for a habitat restoration project, please submit the form below within 6 months of the disaster unless you have received prior approval from Xerces for an extension. Affiliates whose requests have been approved will be notified within 30 days of receipt of the correctly completed request form. Affiliates may not submit more than one request for funding in any twelve-month period.

Funding will be distributed by reimbursement only on the basis of receipts submitted within 6 months of notification that a request was approved. The maximum amount available for reimbursement to any affiliate is $1,000. Reimbursement will be made through a one-time payment to a single payee. A reimbursement form, as well as instructions on how to complete that form, will be sent with the notification of approval of a request.
