DISASTER RELIEF Project FUND
Bee City USA®, an initiative of the Xerces Society, has limited funding available to assist affiliates in restoring habitat and other pollinator conservation resources destroyed by natural disasters such as floods, tornadoes, hurricanes, and wildfires through its Disaster Relief Project Funding (DRPF). Applicants for DRPF must be affiliates of Bee City USA or Bee Campus USA and must be in good standing. To apply for funding please submit the application below within 6 months of the disaster unless you have received prior approval from Xerces for an extension. Applicants whose requests have been approved will be notified within 30 days of receipt of the correctly completed application. Affiliates may not submit more than one application for funding in any twelve-month period.
Funding will be distributed by reimbursement only on the basis of receipts submitted within 6 months of notification that a request was approved. The maximum amount available for reimbursement to any applicant is $1,000. Reimbursement will be made through a one-time payment to a single payee. A reimbursement form, as well as instructions on how to complete the form, will be sent to successful applicants with the notification of the approval of their request.
