Gold Hill, Oregon, Joins 3 Other Cities in Rogue Valley Designated as Bee City USA Affiliates

On July 18, Gold Hill’s city council unanimously voted to join the movement to protect pollinators by planting more habitat rich in a diversity of native flowers and free to nearly free of pesticides.

Meeting the second Thursday of each month, the Can Do committee has accepted responsibility for advocating for pollinators. Committee members include Steve Keisling, Margaret Dials, Lori Hettman, Holly Lopez, Mary Bemis Kiesling, and Buffi Vega.
