Bee Campus USA Application Steps:
  1. Complete all fields on the ‘application’ and ‘profile’ tabs. You do not need to upload an Integrated Pest Management Plan or plant lists until your first renewal. Complete any applicable fields on the ‘about’ tab.
  2. Receive support from the highest official (president, chancellor, etc.) and indicate this in the appropriate field on this tab.
  3. Indicate that your application is complete and ready for review using the field on this tab. We review applications every 1-2 weeks.
  4. Once approved, pay your application fee on the ‘fee payment’ tab.
  5. Once Bee City USA receives the payment, we will certify you within 2 weeks and email your committee, highest official, and media contact with the announcement. The email will include a draft press release and photo for media use.
  6. At the end of each month, we send new affiliates one Welcome Package, with books, a small habitat sign, and outreach materials.

Once your ‘Application Status’ has been marked ‘The application is complete and has been approved’ you may complete your certification by paying the application fee. Please do not pay the application fee before your application has been approved.
